It’s almost time for me to go home! It has been such a lovely summer, though.
Here’s a blast from the past:
Do you see how little Josh is? And how able-bodied I am?
Sniff. Enough reminiscing.
I’m going to go eat some peach crisp and be happy. So there.

I’ve read your blog every day since I heard your testimony at AiAi’s home, and I want to say it’s like ‘getting warmed by a fire’ again. Refocusing my thoughts to God’s Truths Is what I have been missing and thanks for that. You’re transparency in your struggles, yet your submission to God’s choice for you is so inspiring. I believe God’s going to fix your voice, so you can not only write, but speak to many. People don’t listen to people who “have it all together”…we identify with struggles and I love the way you are so candid and yet find the humor in things. I’ll never forget when my 16 yr old was in week 4 of his chemo, finally the pain had subsided a bit, (he was always one who made us laugh),but he was nauseated, sleepy most of the day, suddenly he was alert, started talking, and with an urgency stated he needed oxygen, he couldn’t breathe, his friend and brother panicked and went towards the door to get help when he quickly laughed, stating “just kidding”. We all laughed, and surprisingly, it made the situation more bearable. We still laugh to this day about that. You have been a blessing, and brought Christ’s sunshine to the south when we were inundated with all this rain, and I will continue to pray God’s will be done in your life!
Thank you so much, Linda 🙂 that is a hysterical story about you son – kind of naughty, but I totally identify with that!
